I'm so sorry I have not posted anything in more than a month. Since The Smart Girls Group was launched, I've been super dedicated to that project and have been working on its growth and such. I am not one to really give up on anything, so not continuing with something I started was a challenge, but I wanted to see what was ideal at the same time. As I've said in my posts before, I'm all about balance and if I take on too much of one area, I loose that balance in my life and that isn't right either. I do enjoy doing The Wide World of E but The Smart Girls Group is much more rewarding because of the fact it is a community of girls, versus just me, you know? For that reason, I have decided to stop writing for The Wide World of E.
That was a super hard decision for me, but I know it is the right one. I really appreciate all of you who have supported my posts and guest posted, emailed, and shared my information with others. I still do plan to write posts like The Wide World of E posts on the upcoming blog for The Smart Girls Group, and I hope that you read them and enjoy them! Also, I started a personal Tumblr that will be a more casual blog about my life, with a focus on The Smart Girls Group. You can find that here. I decided on this over just writing less frequently because I can update that easily and it is more interactive, so if anyone would like to contact me, I can talk directly to them through that, versus through email. If you have a Tumblr, definitely follow me and we can keep in touch!
I am excited for the road ahead with The Smart Girls Group and I hope that you get involved as well. I have spoken to many of you through The Wide World of E and many of you seem like the type of girls who would love what we are doing. If you want to see what The Smart Girls Group is all about, please go to: thesmartgirlsgroup.com. If you want to connect with me through my new blog go to: emilyeraleigh.tumblr.com.
Thank you again for everything and I hope you have a great week!
Lots of love,
P.S. I decided on school as well! After lots of decisions, I've decided to go to Fordham University in New York City!
